Private protecting gear can be accessible free of charge to small companies at two Douglas County places Monday.
Douglas County will obtain 20 pallets of supplies, together with masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes.
These can be given out to small companies from 9 a.m to five p.m. Monday at The Information-Evaluation, 345 NE Winchester St., in Roseburg.
A small enterprise protecting gear giveaway may even be held from 10 a.m. to three p.m. Monday at South Umpqua Leases, 140 N. Previous Pacific Freeway, in Myrtle Creek.
The supplies are being given out on a first-come, first-served foundation.
The PPE giveaway is sponsored by the Southwestern Oregon Workforce Funding Board and Enterprise Oregon.
The Southwestern Workforce Funding Board is a nonprofit group that serves Coos, Curry and Douglas Counties, investing in workforce expertise and family-wage jobs. Enterprise Oregon is the state’s financial improvement company.
