Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and Individuals’s Democratic Get together president Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday alleged rigging within the fifth part of the District Growth Council (DDC) elections and mentioned that safety forces have cordoned Matribugh in Shopian and never permitting folks to return out to vote.

Polling for the fifth part of the District Growth Council elections within the UT is underway as polling for 37 DDC seats — 17 within the Kashmir division and 20 within the Jammu division — started at 7am. Few folks turned up at polling stations within the valley because of freezing climate situations, officers mentioned.
